How has Science improved our Quality of Life?
Disease affects virtually everyone at some point during their lives. These diseases can range from minor illnesses to conditions that seriously affect someone's quality of life. An understanding of the diseases that affect us and the way in which they affect us can help us to treat and prevent them. In this section we will investigate four areas in which Science has improved our quality of life
1) Vaccinations and other medicines
2) Genetic Testing for Inheritable Diseases
3) Stem Cells to create new organs
4) Bionics to replace diseased parts of our body
